I couldn't find the "subscibe" button. I just read abut the history of It is well with my soul" it brought tears. I found
this site by a google search for daily hymns.
Rev Fr David Bennett OSJ - Swansea / Birmingham UK
Visited Website on many occasions finding content most educational, interesting and Spiritually uplifting. As
Parish Priest and Chaplain to many Military Associations it has been most heartwarming to have feedback from
members that explaining the history of the hymns has been most interesting, and gives a deeper understanding
to each Remembrance Service. I feel the Site has much to enhance any Sermon or Spiritual talk that my Brothers
and Sisters in Christ may undertake. I will revisit the site often. With the inspiration I receive from it, may that
same inspiration be reflected upon all whom I meet and Spiritually share with as each new day dawns.

I have much more info about my great Uncle Virgil Prentiss Brock at home in the family tree book, referencing
how he came about to leave home and how he began, it is really an interesting story but I don't want to miss
speak so I can not tell you the story tonight as I am away from home. I do know that he left home after a very bad
accident which his father was not expected to survive...

Thank God for your ministry. It is certainly not by chance that I stumbled upon this website. It is very encouraging
to hear and learn more about timeless, classic, God-honouring hymns. Also, your bible study charts will help me
know the word of our Lord better, so I may be more equipped to teach my children. All glory to God!

Dear Tom, I enjoy playing your wonderful hymns on my cellphone. I do not surf the Internet using my cellphone.
Yours is the only site I visit using my phone, because it truly honors Jesus Christ my Lord!.
I thank the LORD for you. I know you strive to honor HIM in all you do. I love you!

I stopped by your site today and I must say it was very impressive how it was laid out. I am a missionary just
starting out and we built a website for our family, but it needs a lot of work. Could you do me a favor and check it
out for me and critique it? May God bless you and yours.
Iyabode Soji-Okusanya - Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Holy Spirit led me to your site. I was in the office and found myself humming “will your anchor hold..” I felt like
singing the hymn to the end but could not quite remember all the lyrics so I called up the Google search engine
and found a site that had the lyrics. I sang and exited the site. Just before I closed the search engine, I activated
your site and behold, it was more than what I want. It will certainly become one of my loved sites. I pray Our Lord
God Almighty will continue to bless and keep you.

Dear Tom & Myra, I very much appreciate your faithfulness, not only in sending out the hymn stories, but also for
defending the fundamentals of the faith. Too many have given themselves over to the seeker-friendly man-made
success approach. Your ministry is a blessing. In Christ, Julie

I'd have to say God lead me directly to your websitet! I wanted to reply to something on an open blog concerning
the hymn "It is Well with my Soul". I have a book about the origin of old hymns, was certain I'd find it in there, but
did not. So I simply typed into the search engine 'startpage' & there I found a perfectly beautiful layout &
wonderfully done web page supplying all the info I could ever hope to find. I was so impressed, I gave a link to
your site on that blog & bookmarked you for future use. My desire was/is to uplift the Gospel & cause some to be
thirsty. The way you led into the salvation message by the end of the page was inspired. Very well done. I pray
God will lead many to see your site & comfort or convict them, whichever is necessary to that soul. Thank you for
your work & making it so freely available.

I was researching the song "It is well with my soul" and found your website. Was looking for a link to email but
found none so am sending this one. Hope i have the address right. Would like to search more for histories
behind the great hymns of the past that, unfortunately, are rarely sung in modern churches. Modern music, for
the most part, does not have the great doctrinal messages of the past hymns.

The hymn "It Is Well With My Soul" was sung by our chorale yesterday in church and the history of the hymn that
was given prior to, so moved me. I wasn't sure what they were singing, so I Googled the lyrics and came across
your site. After reading the lyrics and putting it together with the story, I'm even more moved. I pray that to have
the same unfaltering faith.

Githinji Edward - Nairobi Kenya
I am Edward Githinji from Nairobi, Kenya. I was crazily looking for the hymn "I've a message from the Lord
Hallelujah!" I was seriously glad to receive even the lyrics which were mercilessly pounding my heart and mind . I
Love this hymn - Look up and live. I am now happy & blessed. I beautifully stumbled on this Holy site of God. Then
I sent prayer requests that are hurting me and my family. Kenya has gone through a lot since last election Dec
2007. Families are hurting due to lack of basic needs, hatred, lost hopes and dreams, church is hurting. The only
option is to look up to Jesus and live. I know very well that I am relieved and that they are all answered this is a
heaven site. With all what I have desired in ages angels gaze at it and smile. We are now operating like our
father in heaven on His mega computer which is the mother of all computers this is an everlasting site. I belong
here I am here to stay forever more. May the name of the Lord be praised now an d forever more Oh Jesus, you
continue to amaze me.

My husband and I sing in the church choir. And my husband chose this song for him and I to sing as a special.
The story is so heartwarming and it is so special to us. I had to have brain surgery 3 years ago. And have one
health problem after another. My husband took Jesus as his savior 3 1/2 years ago after being raised as a
Jehovah witness. So we are very proud to sing this song. What an inspiration, we feel so blessed to have the life
we do and to have God and Jesus be a part of it. Thanks for your wonderful website. God bless you.

Lynn Oldenburg - Wisconsin
Hi. My name is Lynn Oldenburg and I live in Wisconsin. I found your site after google searching the history for the
Hymn It is Well. I belong to Reformers Unanimous and we have challenges to work on to help us focus on God
and one of the challenges was an essay report on that hymn and how that hymn demonstrates peace. I looked
over the rest of your website and was thrilled at the vast knowledge. Thank you for having this website. I will
most definately be visiting it often.

I can't thank you enough, I have been looking for the song 'So let the Son shine In' and the lyrics to it for years. I
knew some of the words where 'smilers never loose and frowners never win' but that was it, and I called WHWL
a Christian radio station even right after I heard them play it one day but I was too late and the guy that had played
it was gone and the girl that was there did not know the song. I just happened upon your sight as I was looking
for lyrics to children's hymns to sing to my friends infant son while I am watching him when she is working, and I
was Bookmarking some of them for ease of finding them when he is here. I was just about to stop for the night
when I came across this song and when the tune started to play and I started reading the words I was almost in
tears. My Mother and I use to sing this tune together when I was a very tiny little girl. I would come home from
Sunday school singing the chorus and she would help me with the rest. I can't wait to call her in the morning and
tell her I found it in its entirety. Thank you so much for putting it out there for me to find. God bless you,
I wish I could make a donation but I am in a financial fix, as I am disabled and unemployed, but you are doing a
wonderful thing for God and He has a special place in heaven just for you.
Stacy - Colorado Springs, CO

new church but no one seemed to know the words. Now they will.
Kathleen - South Wales, UK.
Dear Friend, Since I was a young child in infant school I always vaguely remembered the 'sunbeam' song, I
remembered singing around a piano in assembly hall only ever once and never forgot the experience or heard it
since. I never thought I would hear it again, let alone find lyrics and sing along again :). I am delighted and thank
you most sincerely for this wonderful gift I have found again, I am now 47. I have been invited to teach young
children in Islamabad about Jesus and I wanted to find this hymn to take with me. On initially searching for
nursery rhymes I could not find it, then I put in search for 'Jesus sunbeam' and got Nirvana Jesus doesn't want
me for sunbeam, I was most distraught, I persevered and found 'You'. God Bless and thank you again.

Dear Sir/Madam. I wanted to send you an e-mail and thank you for your site, then I saw that you had a guest
book. I am using your site as a source for the tunes and words of hymns, that I have forgotten from my
childhood. I home school my children and every morning we read the Bible and do a hymn sing time. I struggle to
find sites that have no strange advertising on them, and yours is so beautiful, thank you. I want to pass on the
tradition of singing hymns to my children. Children today know choruses, but the words of, and stories behind
some of these hymns are so meaningful, and it would be sad to lose them. As many home school families, we
have 1 income, and so I cannot afford to purchase cd's/dvd's and hymnals, so I am creating my own hymnal
from your lyrics, and we have my laptop on in class, and play from your site to keep us in tune. I found your site
when I googled children's hymns, it came out NUMBER 1 in the search. Many thanks for this ministry. I think folk
in the US may not realise how they bless others with sites such as this. I simply hunger for pure music like this.
Thank you very much. May God bless you and enable you to continue in it.
