Hello Brother Tom and Sister Myra, I want to thank you for your your Hymn and History links. I have learned so
much about the hymns that most churches don't even sing anymore which is so sad. Our church does a few
hymns but mostly that contemporary Christian music which I'm not too fond of. Some of the hymns we do sing
are modern versions that a particular contemporary Christian artist(who shall remain nameless!) has "messed
up" to please the younger generation so it has a more worldly sound. Anyway,I look forward to your links! I wish
they came daily! Might I suggest that you archive the Hymn Histories? It would be so nice to go back and read the
history of a hymn that you have sent in the past or look up a hymn history. The Cyberhymnal has a lot of great

sunday school choir called I Am A Promise. I am 26 now and work with special needs children. So often we

I always enjoy when I take a few minutes to read about a hymn and am encouraged in a faith walk, so I do thank
you. Tonight I had a real surprise when I seemed to not be so rushed so clicked onto children's hymns and found
your three grandsons. I love their pet names, and they remind me so much of our two grandsons ages 7 and 4.
Unfortunately, tho brought up in church, they are not being brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, and
the 4 yr old has been almost un-civilized (improved somewhat now), result of spoiling. My mild suggestions are
unheeded. So maybe your little ones would pray for Nicholas and Sam occasionally. Our little granddaughter
Maddie, age 5, has a mother who is teaching her and Daddy is being led along too! We had three sons, so these

organist everyone assumed I was the right person for the job, but unfortunately I really can’t remember any of
the children’s hymns from so long ago! Class is tonight and I was beginning to feel it was hopeless, we would

Hello Brother Tom and Sister Myra, I want to thank you for your your Hymn and History links. I have learned so
much about the hymns that most churches don't even sing anymore which is so sad. Our church does a few
hymns but mostly that contemporary Christian music which I'm not too fond of. Some of the hymns we do sing
are modern versions that a particular contemporary Christian artist(who shall remain nameless!) has "messed
up" to please the younger generation so it has a more worldly sound. Anyway,I look forward to your links! I wish
they came daily! Might I suggest that you archive the Hymn Histories? It would be so nice to go back and read the
history of a hymn that you have sent in the past or look up a hymn history. The Cyberhymnal has a lot of great

We are heirs to the promise of Christ Jesus! This morning I began to hum this little song I sang when I was in the
sunday school choir called I Am A Promise. I am 26 now and work with special needs children. So often we
forget that even when we are all out of hope there is still faith! We don't always see the results that we want

you. Tonight I had a real surprise when I seemed to not be so rushed so clicked onto children's hymns and found

Unfortunately, tho brought up in church, they are not being brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord, and

organist everyone assumed I was the right person for the job, but unfortunately I really can’t remember any of
the children’s hymns from so long ago! Class is tonight and I was beginning to feel it was hopeless, we would
just learn the regular mass hymns – till I did a search for children’s hymns and your site came up! Not only the
